The Pintupi Tribe
The Pintupi tribe are a nomadic tribe and they were the last tribe to be in contact with the Europeans. There are only about 400 people in this tribe. They eat roots, kangaroos, emus and other things they gather or hunt. Men do most of the hunting while women do most of the gathering. The weapons the Pintupi tribe uses are boomerangs, spears and spear throwers. They survive by making use of the things around them, for example the animals and plants.
The Pintupi also have different traditions, such as marriage traditions and passage rituals for birth, death and puberty. The Pintupi people are very different from other tribes because of these traditions.

marriage tradition
One's name is combined from the parent's name. They are only to marry the person they are "compatible" with. This cycle goes on and on for generations. How marriage and names are determined is on the left.
Pintupi people
They were relocated to another part of the desert after they were in contact with the Europeans.
