Bilby
The bilby adapts to the Gibson Desert climate by hiding underground during the hot parts of the day and hunting during the night. They hide in about two meter deep holes. These holes benefits them as they can avoid the harsh heat and also to escape from predators that are active in the daytime. The bilby do not need to drink water as their digestive system is capable of removing the water from their diet of seeds and nuts.
